In The Bee-ginning!

Bee season depends largely on temperature and the seasonal patterns of flowers. After hibernating over the winter, our bees awaken in time to collect pollen and nectar from their preferred plants; our bees usually become active in the spring with the warm weather and flowering of plants. They remain active throughout the summer and into the fall.

Our bees have had a very busy season - coming to a close, wrapping it up in about 10 days.

Bee Here Now!

Our guests started the season enjoying honey cultivated on green thistles, sage, hawthorn (zaarour), and towards the end thistles, lavender and basil.

Al Haush visitors are so eager to learn and experience more. We create experiences like hive tours, honey extractions, and so much more.

Where it All Began With Honey Bees!

Bees are responsible for the rich plant diversity we enjoy today at Al Haush Agritourism. Most flowering plants cannot self-pollinate and pollination that relies on the wind to carry their seed is not very efficient, so flowers evolved with bright colours and markings to attract bees and to ensure that they were rewarded for the pollination service provided them with a nutritious nectar too.

 Harvesting Honey!

As soon as the honeycomb in the hive is filled with honey and capped with beeswax, they are ready to be harvested by beekeepers at Al Haush. The wax cappings are removed before the honeycomb is placed in the extractor. This honey may then be filtered, packaged and sold in its raw form.

We jar and manufacture all our own products in house. These fresh, raw and unprocessed honey products will succeed your honey expectations and make your taste buds sing. We take pride in everything that goes out of Al Haush plants and we know how much you will enjoy it.

Straight from the hive!

Honey Bee Jars

Al Haush’s raw Honey is simply delicious because it contains only pure, raw honey from our own hives. We ensure our honey is free of chemicals, antibiotics, and everything else you don’t want in your food. It contains all natural goodness such as enzymes, amino acids, and pollen to make it a true health honey.

Honey Bee Soaps

Natural luffa soap is used as a body scrub to exfoliate dead cells, refine the texture of your skin, and stimulate microcirculation in your body. It is essentially made with extra virgin olive oil and enriched with beeswax, a precious anti-cellulite weapon. It works as an anti-aging agent by keeping your skin young and vibrant and by protecting it against any external aggressions. Suitable for all types of skins.

As fresh as it gets..

It’s one of our favorite months of the year here at Al Haush! Order now if you would like to get your hands on some body scrub honey soaps or some jars of our local honey and taste the difference. Click on the link to watch the honey extraction video and learn more about our behives and honey.
